Right of Withdrawal

Version 1.3 · Effective 2026-09-20

This page explains how a consumer may withdraw from a paid subscription distance contract with Turniiriportaal OÜ, and when that right is limited for digital content under VÕS § 53 (4).

1. How to send a withdrawal

Send a clear statement that you withdraw from the contract, before the 14-day period expires if that right still applies. You may use the model statement below or any other unequivocal wording. Send it by email to privacy@turna.ee or by post to Turniiriportaal OÜ, Õhtu tn 7, Valga 68205, Estonia. The deadline is met if you send the notice before the period expires.

2. What to include

Include your name, email address, order number, the date of the order (or of receiving confirmation), and a statement that you withdraw from the contract. Example: "I hereby withdraw from the subscription contract concluded on [date], order number [number]. Name: [name]. Email: [email]. Date: [date]."

3. Model statement

To Turniiriportaal OÜ, Õhtu tn 7, Valga 68205, Estonia, privacy@turna.ee. I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract for the following subscription: [describe product], ordered on [date], order number [number]. Name of consumer: [name]. Email: [email]. Date: [date].

4. Digital-content limitation (VÕS § 53 (4))

The 14-day withdrawal right does not apply to digital content not supplied on a tangible medium once performance has begun with your prior express consent and your acknowledgement that you lose the right of withdrawal (VÕS § 53 (4)). When we grant the purchased digital role after payment, performance has begun. If those conditions are not met, the ordinary consumer withdrawal right remains.

5. After we receive the notice

If a valid withdrawal still applies, we will confirm receipt and refund the amounts due using the same payment method unless we agree otherwise. See the Sales Terms for prices, performance, and trader identity.

Connected tournaments

This rating is not connected to any tournaments.

Tournaments that are not yet FINISHED will receive this rating configuration. Their points are calculated when those tournaments finish.

    Undefined positions receive 0 points

    Name is required
If 8 finished tournaments are attached and this is 2, each player keeps their best 6 results. Tournaments that have not finished are ignored. Real points appear once a player has played at least (this value + 1) events; until then real points are 0. Virtual points are the sum of all earned points.

When a tournament finishes, the closest point table is used. A table for the same or fewer players is preferred (the largest of those). If none exists, the smallest table for more players is used. Example: 8 players with tables for 10 and 6 uses the 6-player table; 8 players with only a 10-player table uses the 10-player table. If there are no tables, everyone receives 0 points.

    Recalculate finished tournaments

Tournaments that are not yet FINISHED will receive this rating configuration. Their points are calculated when those tournaments finish.

    Frequently Asked Questions

The current Turna.ee is built around player accounts, chained formats, and running the event on the day. Compared with the older Swiss-focused tool, you get: 1. Accounts so players can register, join a club, become a member, and keep results and ratings on their profile. 2. Player self-registration (organizers can still add names by hand). 3. Sign-in with Google or an account created on the site. 4. Swiss, groups, and single elimination, chained in any order. Double elimination is coming later. 5. Match start time, status, and shuffled courts — you can have fewer courts than pairings. 6. Some tournament details can still be edited after the event, while core settings stay locked. 7. One layout across formats, player statistics, and a mobile-friendly UI, plus a Swiss round timer when matches start together. 8. Clubs with a message board, seasonal series ratings, and print for every format. 9. Online membership payments and this FAQ, with the site available in several languages.

You can host events in three formats: Swiss system, Groups (round robin), and Single elimination. You can chain them in any order—for example Swiss then knockout, groups then knockout, or groups then Swiss then knockout. Only one format runs at a time. Double elimination is coming later. Single elimination: Players compete in a knockout bracket. Organizers choose which places to play out; the final is always included. Swiss system: Players with a similar standing are paired. Ranking uses points, then Buchholz, Fine Buchholz, and ratio. A win is 2 points, a draw 1, a loss 0. Buchholz is the sum of opponents' points. Fine Buchholz is the sum of opponents' Buchholz. Ratio is points scored minus points conceded (shown as won:lost). Groups (round robin): Players are split into groups, and everyone in a group plays everyone else.

TurnaRank ELO is a platform-wide player rating. Public finished 1v1, 2v2, and 3v3 tournaments count toward it. Private events, unfinished events, and other formats do not. Supporters and organizers can see their own rating and their opponents' ratings on profiles and match cards. A subscription grants access to TurnaRank ELO; it does not freeze a particular rating value. Ratings are seasonal: they may be recalibrated or reset.

We do not use player information for advertisements or marketing analytics. It is stored and displayed to run events and keep public sports competition records.

With an account, your results can follow you across tournaments. That happens when you register for an event yourself, or when an organizer links a guest entry to your account. You can then see those events on your profile. You can also join a club, or use Become a member to become a supporter or an organizer.

Subscribe as an Organizer on Become a member. A Supporter plan is not enough. Then go to Create tournament. If you are not yet staff of a club, you will be asked to create one or join one first.

To create a tournament you need a name, start date and time, country, and format (Individual, Duo, or Trio). After that you add stages — Swiss system, Groups (round robin), and/or Single elimination — and the participants. Optional round length starts a timer when a Swiss match begins. Groups and knockout do not use this timer. You can set how many courts (tracks) you have. Extra pairings stay waiting until a court is free and you start them. Location and additional info help players find the event and let you share practical details. Enable registration so players can sign themselves up, including as teams in Duo and Trio. Attach a rating if you want finishing places to earn points that add up across several tournaments. This is separate from TurnaRank ELO. First-round pairings follow the participant list unless you turn on shuffle first round. Private tournaments stay off the public list; anyone with the link can still open them. Appoint a city host so another account can run the day (players, results, and start). They cannot change settings, stages, or the attached rating.

A tournament can show these states: 1. Draft: The event has not started yet. The organizer can still change settings. If player registration is enabled, this is also the time before the registration start date. 2. Registration open: Players can sign themselves up. This starts when the registration start date is reached. 3. Starting soon: Registration has closed and the first stage has not been started yet. 4. In progress: A stage is currently running. 5. Awaiting start: One stage has finished and the next has not been started yet—for example Swiss then knockout. 6. Finished: The tournament is over. Registration open and Starting soon only appear if you enabled player registration. Without it, the event stays in Draft until you start it.

Create an account, pick a tournament that shows Registration open, and click Register. Depending on the format, you sign up solo (Individual) or as a team (Duo or Trio). To post a Look for a team listing, Become a member. Anyone with an account can request to join someone else's listing.
