Turna.ee was created to solve a real problem: calculating Swiss-system results by hand was error-prone and took far too long. I wanted to solve that for my father, and in 2013 I built the first version of Turna.ee — essentially the first prototype.

In 2016 Turna.ee began in earnest: the same problem no longer needed solving for one person, but could scale across Estonia. Over the years, many clubs have run competitions all over the country using Turna.ee as their working tool. Now it stands in front of you as a complete solution allowing users to register to tournaments, see their results, and become members of a club.

This solution carries no ads and does not sell data to third parties. For it to continue, users can support the site’s development for about the price of one coffee a month, or join as organizers and create their own club to host competitions.
